The My Brest Friend journey

Andrew Zenoff, the inventor of My Brest Friend, found that people close to him were struggling with this very issue. A young bachelor at the time, equipped with a curious mind and a business degree, Andrew saw an opportunity to help. He set out to do what no one had done before: create a nursing pillow with the sole purpose of meeting the needs of breastfeeding moms and babies.

Andrew spoke directly with nursing mothers to build a list of their most common pain points. These included:

  • Lower back pain from hunching over without support
  • Improper positioning causing poor latch
  • Pillows slipping out of place mid-feed
  • Difficulty keeping baby snug and secure

After a lengthy cycle of design and real-world testing with hundreds of nursing moms and lactation consultants, over 50 prototypes were developed in a single year. A dedicated team poked, prodded, and refined the design until every mother in the test group agreed: this one is just right. Only then was the My Brest Friend nursing pillow introduced to the world.
